How To Upload A Static Image To A Door Monitor
In the event you need to upload a static image to your Door Monitor as a background, the following steps will walk you through the process:
- Please reach out to support regarding the request for a Static Door Monitor Static Image Request
- A support agent will send you the progenerated images built for each one of your established room and the file name of each image will match its associated room.
- You will receive these images in two methods: email and wetransfer.com
- There are two methods to upload these images directly to your Door monitor; We Transfer website (Step 4) or Airdrop(Step 5).
- We Transfer:
- We will send you a link in your email directing you to the we transfer website.
- You will open a web browser on the iPad and type in the provided link
- Once on the wetransfer website you will click the Door Monitor image labeled with the room name associated with the device you are on.
- Once the image is downloaded it should save to either the photos app or camera roll
- AirDrop:
- You will be sent these images to your email as attachments. You can download these images to an Apple device such as a iPhone or iPad.
- Hold down your finger over the Rooms image until a menu pops up.
- Once that menu pops up select Share
- A menu option will pop up and select Airdrop
- Note you will need to turn the AirDrop Settings to “Everyone” which you can do by going to Settings > General > AirDrop and select everyone.
- We Transfer:
- Now you will set the downloaded image as your Wallpaper on both the Lock Screen and Home Screen
- Navigate to Settings > Wallpaper > Choose a New Wallpaper.
- Select the downloaded image from your album
- Note the image should be sized for the iPad but you may need to position it. To reposition your selected image, pinch open to zoom in on it, then drag the image to move it. Pinch closed to zoom back out.
- Click Set, then choose to Set Both
- Select the downloaded image from your album
- Additionally, if you do not want the iPad to go to sleep and show the lock screen you can set the settings to Never go to sleep by navigating to the following:
- Settings > Display and Brightness > Auto-Lock > Never
- Navigate to Settings > Wallpaper > Choose a New Wallpaper.
