Adding Functionality to Other Applications

  1. Open the Power Apps application where you want to add the button
  2. Navigate to the Accounts section to access the Accounts view
  3. Click on the "..." (more options) and select “Edit command bar”

  4. Choose the main form from the list and click “Edit”

  5. Click to add a new command.

  6. Enter the name for the new command (e.g., “Request an Engagement”)
  7. Add the “nexus_RequestABriefing.js” library to the command
  8. Enter the function name “openRequestCompletionPage”

  9. Save the changes.
  10. Publish the updates.
  11. After launching you need to click on change application button

  12. Click “manage roles” for application where button was added

  13. Select “Nexus User” role
